SAILING and WINDSURFING
The ultimate sports of water and wind - sailing and windsurfing - reign supreme on Lake Garda. The afternoon wind Ora and the morning wind Pelèr as well as all the other winds ensure that you can enjoy these sports every day. And while you are at it, you may come across a world championship or internationally famous athletes training or competing.
KITESURFING
There is nothing quite like darting across the sunlit lake, crossing the length and breadth of it on your board: an increasingly popular sport that thrills and captivates beginners and experts alike.

Warning: Kitesurfing is only permitted in Trentino waters in the marked areas and at certain hours of the day. It is forbidden in the strip up to 200 metres from the shore as well as during sailing regattas.

WING FOIL
A new discipline which is a mixture of windsurfing, kitesurfing and sup although it has a distinct identity of its own. Wing foil is an inflatable wing which can harness the wind from a board fitted with a hydrofoil, but can also be used with a sup, windsurf or kitesurfing board.
SUP STAND UP PADDLE
In the morning when the Pelèr blowing from the north flattens the water, that is the best time for paddling along the shores of the lake in the warm dawn light surrounded by the sounds of a new day beginning: immerse yourself in the absolute calm of the lakeshore. The more experienced in search of excitement can take on the afternoon waves. In any case, sup allows you to discover hidden places you can only get to on your board.
CANYONING
If you are looking for something which combines adrenaline, adventure and amazement, canyoning is the choice: a unique wilderness experience in the crystalline alpine water which flows delving rocks. Accompanied by expert local guides you can explore the water course of steep uncontaminated streams, hiking along the river bed or swimming in deeper waters. Let yourself be carried along by the power of the water over slides, diving into natural pools and abseiling down the rock.
FISHING
Beneath the surface of the lake live many species which you can fish if you get the special card issued by the local fishing association which you can get from the Garda Dolomiti tourist information offices in Riva del Garda, Arco and Torbole sul Garda. Apart from Lake Garda you can also fish on the River Sarca. A marvellous experience for fishing enthusiasts in breathtaking surroundings (fishing for eel or carpione is not allowed).
BEACHES
Garda Trentino has many inlets, bays and broad beaches where you can unwind or hang out with friends. Pebbles or green lawns, open space or furnished with sunshades and loungers, with play areas, multi-functional sports areas, restaurants and bars, the local beaches have something for absolutely everyone. Just a few kilometres away there are also bathing facilities and beaches on Lake Cavedine and Lake Ledro.

On the beaches of Riva del Garda, Torbole sul Garda, Lido di Arco and Lake Tenno there is a lifeguard and emergency rescue service on land and water from June to September.
